Volunteer Opportunities with FOFR

  • Reef Cleanups

Scuba divers of Florida unite! Join us in the summer as we team up with local dive shops in each southeast Florida county to clean the reefs of marine debris. For more information, visit the participate page!

  • Community Science: BleachWatch & SEAFAN

Start submitting marine incidents to the Southeast Florida Action Network (SEAFAN), a citizen science reporting and response system available to anyone on or under the water.

Take your reporting skills to the next level by joining an online or in-person two hour training to become a BleachWatch Observer. Then, submit coral disease and bleaching observations through the BleachWatch Report Form.

  • Community Outreach & Education

Lead a webinar series, create presentations, and represent FOFR at public facing events like tabling, or assist with administrative duties such as preparing educational materials, and working with event organizers.

  • Become a Board Member

Looking for a leadership position mixed with environmental stewardship? Apply to be part of the FOFR Board of Directors and donate your time to leading the charge to protect our Florida Coral Reefs.
