In 2017, Friends of Our Florida Reefs (FOFR) was able to significantly assist the FDEP Coral Program and key partners to co-host the 38th Bi-Annual US Coral Reef Task Force Meeting in Ft. Lauderdale and S. Florida. This was the first USCRTF Meeting in Florida since 2011 and 2004, and the USCRTF is not expected to meet again in Florida for several years.
